Europa Express in Mountain View

by Masha on August 7, 2006

One of my earlier posts is about Europa Express restaurant in San Francisco. I also mentioned there was one to be opened in Mountain View. It finally did. I was craving for some vareniki so I decided to stop by and check it out. Not just I found vareniki but also quite a few other great necesseties. I was pleasantly surprized by the variety of foods and beverages the store has. Just the meat section itself is worth coming for. The prices are lower than average, there is a deli section for a quick bite, a wide books and videos selection, along with quality foods. This store is definitely worth checking out.

Comparing to World Market, their service is awful and prices are high. By the way, World Market is their neighbor located on San Antonio Rd, Mountain View.

I found their selection to be the best of any Eastern European deli in the South Bay AND Peninsula. On top of that, prices were pretty reasonable. You have to check out the vodka section – it’s incredible. I didn’t think they made so many cool bottles and vodkas.

We stoped going to this store long time ago due to the stail bread they sold and outdated butter. The service was much better when they were located in Sunnyvale. Agree with Olga.

Indeed, when the store just opened at the new location, I was taken aback by their service (or lack thereof). However, I noticed that lately the owners became a bit more friendly and accommodating. Still, when I need to buy vodka – I go there… Other produce (more choices and often cheaper) I get at Sunnyvale WinMart
