Domino
Domino is a large Russian food store in Brooklyn, NY. It was recommended to me by a Russian food and culture guru who has lived in New York for many years. It is sometimes hard to find out about things like this, one way to do it is by using sites like 118.com or to talk to a local as I did. I was told that Domino has a great selection of grocery products and great ready-to-eat meals. Things like salads and pastry is something that is worth trying at Domino.

I had very bad experiance. Service like you still live in USSR. Me & my family are spending about $500 a month & I belive we do not deserve to be served this way. we are going to give business somebody else
Yeh, it’s so funny how some of those people are acting.
So ignorant! They could rub some useful skills off American sales culture.
I had a discussion with their head of Deli production.
He sounded like he was still living in a shtettle.
Of course, he didn’t represent himself. Nobody is wearing name badges there. So I cannot give his name. By looks he is short and corpulent one. He was wearing white uniform coat. And was very rude.
I wonder why our compatriots are so condescending toward each other.
I bought gefilte fish on Sunday, April 17th, called “Sudak” . It had a huge head, but the sales woman said that was only a decoration.
On Passover eve I had a problem to cut it in pieces. There was a lot of bones and fins, and bits of cartilage. It was dangerous to eat.
And it looked unsavory on the plate.
Very disappointed.
Bought gefelte fish on Monday- no head- absolutely delicious!!! Everything I bought was great. My mom is very picky and this is now her fave store. The “sheyka” was delish
Good stuff, will def be back!
Side note**** the attitude was so effen nasty I had to fight with 3 ppl**** sometimes a small price to pay for fresh, delicious, ready food!
I rate this place as a ZERO!
the food is spoiled, service is horrible and not to mention the fish counter has old rotting fish on display. This place should be checked by the health department and shut down.
I was VERY DISAPPOINTED by bakery department. A few years ago I was a regular customer and loved their cakes, pastry. I returned to Brooklyn and visited the store only to find out that everything is not fresh, lacks fantasy and design. Very bad taste. What happened????
