Smaak
Smaak is a European buffet/restaurant in Antelope only a few minutes drive from Sacramento. This place has recently opened and has been receiving very nice reviews so far. It is open daily 11 am to 9 pm and has reservation option and catering service. Check out the menu on the website here. It has casual European-style interior and friendly staff.

Very good worth the drive from Stockton to enjoy the food and atmosphere.

After all the wonderful reviews, my wife Sally and I drove down from Penn Valley on November 14, 2007 ony to find that SMAAK was closed and replaced by a very different restaurant.
If the SMAAK owners are still catering or opening a new restaurant, please let us know.
