		<description>Well, the only place with a better borsht was my grandma&#039;s kitchen! Cabbage rolls are excelent as well as Samarkand-style pilaf. I tried pilaf with lamb and pilaf with beef. Surely - lamb pilaf is a winner. 
Hint. Call them ahead time - they will really cook just for you!</description>

		<description>Out of all the Russian food stores in the South Bay, Samovar is probably the worst in terms of food quality and availability. They usually have some frozen stuff in the fridges which they can preheat for you. I&#039;ve tried their selection at least 6-7 times hoping to get something that would taste decent, but no luck. Borsch and harcho were bland and tasteless, plov was unsalty and very heavy on the grease, golubtsy cabbage had a very strange taste and odor... 

Not sure about the cozy part either: their dining area is very uninviting and undecorated. I understand it&#039;s a store, but still...

On the good side, they carry great Ukranian sukhariki which I haven&#039;t seen in any other stores.</description>
