Little Birch restaurant is a high-end spot with exquisite cuisine without the Yabao Lu glitz. With its clean feel, it’s the spot for a quiet dinner with your comrades, or dining alone with Anna Karenina.

Update: Thanks to Vanja, I found out that the only Russian food in this restaurant is pickles and beer. Most of the dishes are Asian cuisine.

I read this review on little birch and wanted to go there immediately. However, the place is everything but a russian restaurant. The only things on the menu that were really russian were the sliced pickles and imported russian beer, everything else was a mix of all kinds of asian food, not even close to russian cuisine. It is a shame to call the place a russian restaurant! The person who rated the place with a 4/5 on thatsbj.com is probably one of the waiters or the manager himself! It was really frustrating and disappointing.
If you really want to get some good home-made russian food for a good price go to traktirr at the dongzhemen. This is the place that i went to after taking a look at little birch’s menu!
