XDForum 2.01 Installation

Thank you for choosing to use XDForum!

This is a quick guide to installing, setting up and using XDForum.


INSTRUCTIONS
------------

XDForum is very easy to install, and not much harder to customize.

1) Upload the folder named “xdforum” to:
	<WordPress folder>/wp-content/plugins/

2) Ensure the following folders inside the xdforum folder are writable:
	xdforum/avatars/
	xdforum/backup/
	xdforum/includes/Smarty/cache/
	xdforum/includes/Smarty/templates_c/
	xdforum/themes/default/

	* if you are using another theme use that themes folder instead of "default"

3) Login to you WordPress admin area.

4) Click on the “Plugins” tab and find XDForum, activate it.

5) Click on the “Manage” tab then the “XDForum Admin” sub-tab.

6) Check the settings and save them. Once you save them XDForum will install itself and make the necessary changes needed in order to work.

7) Go to the "Style" settings and set your theme and colours.

8) Lastly, make sure you create a Group and then a Forum in that group. As long as one is created it will work but it's up to you how many to add.


POST SETUP
----------
